Neckinger Mill, 1826

Pen and wash drawing, dated 1826, of Neckinger Mill by J. Buckler. At that time Bevingtons used the mill as a leather works but the buildings illustrated appear to be those described in the 1805 sale particulars of the Koops paper mill. Note in particular the drying lofts at the right and extreme left, and the turret and chimney stack to the left of the tall trees. It can be deduced that the view is from the north-east.
