Company advertisement for the East Lancashire Paper Mill, which in March 1860 became the first limited paper mill to be founded in Lancashire. It was the fortunate investors in this mill who continued to receive dividends in some periods in the late 1870s and early 1880s, when the other Lancashire limited paper mills paid none.
