Watermark 1 - Maker and Mill: possibly George Molineux and Thomas Johnston, Lewes or Isfield Mills, Sussex. Source - Loeber FI 7898, same mark as Heawood 1338.
Watermark 2 - Unknown maker. Source - Loeber FI 9628-15 KBH 176, Gottingen, 1819. Also found in watercolours by J M W Turner, 1819 and letter dated April 28th 1821 in RSA MS Transactions 1820-21.
Watermark 3 - Maker and Mill: William Harris and William Dick Mc Murdo, Bersham Mill, nr Wrexham, Denbigh. Source - Letter dated March 3rd 1821 in RSA MS Transactions 1820-21, also Heawood 1341.
Watermark 4 - Unknown maker. Source - Loeber FI 7900 - UBLA FO 2271, 1840s.

Watermark 5 - Maker and Mill: John Roger Jones, Wheeler/Afonwen (444). Source - Hick Hargreaves, First Order Book, 1833.
Watermark 6 - Maker and Mill: John and Roger Mather, Afonwen (501). Source - Heawood 1337, tracing of a mark in a letter dated 30th August 1849.

Watermark 7a - Maker and Mill: John and Roger Mather, Afonwen (501). Source - National Library of Wales, tracing of a mark in a letter dated 23rd June 1841.
Watermark 7b - Maker and Mill: John and Roger Mather, Afonwen (501). Source - Heawood 1336, tracing of the same watermark as above by a different hand.
