Watermark 1 - Made by The Scots White Writing Paper Company (Nicholas Dupin, Denis Manes and Co), Braid Burn Mill, Edinburgh. Source - Deed dated 25th November 1700.
Watermark 2 - Made by The Scots White Writing Paper Company (Nicholas Dupin, Denis Manes and Company), Braid Burn Mill, Edinburgh. Source - Deed dated 17th March 1703.


Watermark 3 - Made by The Scots White Writing Paper Company (Nicholas Dupin, Denis Manes and Company), Yester Mill, Gifford Hall, East Lothian. Source - Deed dated 20th June 1703.
Watermark 4 - Probably made by Thomas Burns at Carron Grove Mill, Denny, Stirlingshire. Source - Bower Collection BM 84101.
Watermark 5 - Made by Robert Weir at Carron Grove Mill, Denny, Stirlingshire. Source - Thompson, Plate 6.

Made by William Balston at Springfield Mill, Maidstone. The position of the Whatman mark suggests it was added to an existing mould.
